The reasons why I love Vicki Miner (Janeane Garofalo) in Reality Bites are simple: she’s a good friend, she’s quirky AND quippy, she gives it to you straight, she’s not afraid to be herself (i.e. work at the Gap, have the raddest bedroom, sing loudly in the car, dance in the gas station, etc) and yet she’s still a responsible person who exhibits genuine emotions (HELLO AIDS TEST). Also, her style, I die.
